Hopkins Technology Commercialization Agency
Hopkins Technology Commercialization Agency (HTCA) was the first student-run business created by Hopkins Student Enterprises (HSE) at The Johns Hopkins University
HTCA provides technology consulting services for universities, research laboratories, tech firms, and independent inventors. Specifically, the Agency assesses the commercial value of Intellectual Property (IP) owned by these organizations and makes recommendations on how to achieve the greatest value for their IP. In addition, HTCA provides general business consulting services for small businesses and entrepreneurs, including preparation of business plans and consulting reports.
HTCA's vision is to demonstrate to the national technology transfer community that bright and motivated students, given the right resources, can provide effective technology and business consulting of the same caliber as professional consulting firms for a fraction of the cost.
