She tends to her garden, her trees, And gives their fruit to her kin To keep them young in their halls As they wait for their twilight— You’re walking sockless, now that The days are long again, Your favorite songs on repeat , The summer seems endless— And I lie in my bed, Moving like a cat with the sun.
