The JHU Arts and Sciences Magazine featured Andrew Brandel, '09 in its Spring 2008 edition. The article discusses the challenges of a Double Major at Hopkins, an accomplishment only 14% of the undergraduates choose to pursue. Brandel is a double major in Philosophy and Anthropology. "Anthropology is a particular way of looking at the world and addressing infinite questions," he explains. "Using the social theories of anthropology, I'm taking portions of Heidegger's rigid philosophy and trying to reinterpret it to build theories about how to think about mankind."
