Alain Joffe, M.D., M.P.H, F.A.A.P

Bonjour! Dr. graduated from Columbia College and received his medical degree from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). Before joining the faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1981, he completed a Masters in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. He is currently an associate professor of pediatrics with a joint appointment in the Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Joffe's board-certifications are in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. He is the founder of the Adolescent Medicine program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has published over 100 research articles, reviews, and book chapters pertaining to adolescent, young adult, and college health. From 1981until 1997, he served as part-time medical director of the Student Health and Wellness Center untill 2001 when he returned as full-time director and we're very glad to have him back.

Linda J. Rhoades, APRN, BC, Nurse Manager
I received my B.S. in Nursing as well as my Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University of Maryland. My M.S. in Applied Behavioral Science is from the Johns Hopkins University. I have been a Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years. In 1983, I transferred to the Student Health and Wellness Center from Johns Hopkins Hospital. In 1994, I became Nurse Manager here. I am a member of the American Nurses Association, The Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland, and Sigma Theta Tau Association.
