Welcome New Students!
The Student Health and Wellness Center provides high quality, confidential health care to the campus community. The clinic is located on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood campus on the terrace level of AMR II. The health care staff consists of board certified/eligible physicians, nationally certified nurse practitioners, a licensed nurse, medical assistants/technologists, and a nurse mid-wife. We offer a broad range of primary care services, including routine gynecologic care.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Johns Hopkins University Student Health and Wellness Center is to support the education and development of students by promoting their optimal health and well-being.
Eligibility
Students eligible for services at the Health and Wellness Center include:
* students enrolled in the Schools of Arts and
Sciences and Engineering full-time programs
* visiting students at the Johns Hopkins University who meet all the
pre-entrance health requirements of the Johns Hopkins University
There is no charge for office visits for all students enrolled full-time or part-time in the Schools of Arts and Sciences and Engineering.
Not Eligible
Students enrolled in the following schools are not eligible for services at the Student Health & Wellness Center @ Homewood:
- Arts & Sciences Part-Time Programs (AAP)
- Engineering Part-Time Programs (EPP)
- Carey Business School
- School of Education
- Peabody Conservatory of Music -serviced by John Hopkins Community Physicians @ Wyman Park, 410-338-3000
- Nursing - serviced by University Health Services, 410-955-3250
- Medicine -serviced by University Health Services, 410-955-3250
- Public Health - serviced by University Health Services, 410-955-3250
Students on a medical leave of absence are no longer eligible for services at the JHU Student Health & Wellness Center on the Homewood Campus.
